Trakair is rated as a GOLD operator with ARGUS and is committed to retaining the highest of safety standards and quality of service. Adam Barbor, Vice President and Chief Pilot, founded Trakair in 1999. Since its conception, the Burlington, VT based private charter company, operating King Airs and Learjets, has flown over 2500 hours throughout North America, Central America and the Caribbean with a perfect safety record.
Captain Barbor has logged over 4500 hours as the pilot in command in turboprops and turbojets. Trakair's commitment to safety includes two fully qualified and type-rated pilots on every flight. These pilots are required to attend FAA approved Level D simulator training every six months and a part 135 flight check with the FAA every 12 months. Trakair's Director of Maintenance monitors regular servicing of Trakair's aircraft, accomplished at the manufacturer's approved facilities.

The Bombardier Learjet 31A is certified in 21 countries around the globe, including rigorous FAA approval in the United States which governs the construction and design of all civil aircraft in the transport category.
